To most people Fiji seems like a tourist destination, although this may be true there are still thousands of local people who struggle each day to find clean drinking sources. In rural parts of Fiji the typical source of water is an open bore hole. This is a major issue and results in many of the children getting sick. Rural schools are also effected and result in many children missing out on their education and even getting sick from water they have to drink while at school. Let it flow works directly with the water authority of Fiji to ensure our work is most effective. Currently we are helping schools, households, nursing stations, and even the police department to have clean water through our filtration program. We provide high quality sawyer water filters to each household, these filters can filter up to 1 million gallons of water if properly maintained. We train each individual on how to clean and maintain these filters to ensure they will last.
